  • Be efficient- think and act like a factory line.

  • Use boiling water when peeling shallots- this helps speed up the process.
  • Use wine for a quick meat marinade.
  • Use salt water as a makeshift cooler.
  • Use a spoon to peel a kiwi.
  • Steam your eggs- start the process as soon as the whites are almost ready.
  • Use more than salt and pepper to liven up a dish- alternatively use soy sauce, gravy or crushed up chicken stock.
