Showroom Assistant/Administrator

Needed for processing orders, working in the showroom and carrying out related administrative tasks for Dream Doors.

Customer Facing

To assist with conversion rates of sales appointments by meeting and greeting prospective customers in the showroom, showing and explaining the products and services on offer.

Aim to get as many appointments as possible, and keep the appointment diary up to date.

Maintain the excellent reputation of Dream Doors by answering the showroom phone professionally and dealing with all enquiries in a courteous manner at all times.

Act as a point of liaison between the Director, suppliers and fitters to ensure that customers receive the best possible service throughout the sales process.

Ensure that the customer is kept informed of progress and to agree on fitting dates with them.

Fitters

Work closely with sub contract fitters, including the agreement of dates for fitting.

Suppliers

Liaise with Head Office in placing orders and dealing with any queries.

Deal with supply issues with suppliers and negotiate keen prices, supply terms and conditions.

Verify supply invoices with agreed purchase prices.

General

Maintain up to date and accurate records, both via spreadsheet and the CRM system (training will be provided).

Other responsibilities

When necessary, receive deliveries from suppliers and verify they are accurate before signing them off.

Attend training as required to develop relevant knowledge, techniques and skills.

From time to time, you will be asked to carry out duties that are outside your normal job role, to enable the smooth running of the business.

This role requires great attention to detail as well as the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines and maintain the reputation for excellent customer service.

Able to work under pressure and think on your feet.

Able to work unsupervised.

Confident in dealing with customers, suppliers and third party sub-contractors.

Well organised in approach to the responsibilities of the role and the working environment.

Enthusiastic and keen to learn new skills.

Punctual with excellent time management skills.

Miscellaneous

Proof of the right to work in the UK will be checked before the appointment.

Satisfactory reference will be required.
