Back to school….lunch box? Check, folders? Check, pencil sharpener…
We all know it’s challenging for schoolchildren to get back into the swing of things after the long summer break. As such we at Dream Doors have decided to compile a checklist of everything your little one will need, making sure they are prepared for the homework, assignments and exams to come.
We have even split up our list into Primary and secondary school, useful huh?
And that’s it! Your little scholar should be ahead of the game next term, let’s hope for those A’s!
Packed Lunch ideas
Before we get started it should be noted that according to NHS choices a balanced lunch should contain:
- Starchy foods like bread, rise, potatoes or pasta.
- Protein foods like meat, fish, eggs or beans.
- A dairy item, like cheese or yogurt. Vegetables or salad and a portion of fruit.
With that in mind let’s have a gander at some good packed lunch ideas that are sure to give them energy and keep their brains active!
