Dream Doors Completes 60,000th Kitchen Makeover!
8th September 2017
Dream Doors, the UK’s largest kitchen door replacement franchise, has just completed its coveted 60,000th kitchen makeover. With its humble origins as a single showroom in Gosport, it’s hard to believe the company’s growth throughout its 17 years of business. Now, with almost 80 showrooms nationwide, customers all over the UK can benefit from high-quality kitchen makeovers.
The 60,000th sale was made by Nick and Sandy Martin, owners of the Dream Doors showroom in Brigg, and was made to delighted customers Mr and Mrs Austin who couldn’t wait to show off their brand-new kitchen to family and friends. Dream Doors only sold its 50,000th kitchen in September 2016, illustrating the rapid growth of the company and ongoing demand for its kitchen makeover services.
Dream Doors allows customers to completely change the look of their kitchen for a fraction of the cost of a full re-fit, by replacing work surfaces and doors to create an altogether fresh look. All doors are made to measure in the UK and are available in a massive range of colours, styles and materials.
Nick and Sandy were over the moon to discover that Mr and Mrs Austin were the 60,000th makeover completed by the franchise. To celebrate, the couple were awarded a hamper full of various intriguing goods. Ecstatic, the Austin’s had this to say:
“Dream Doors provided an excellent service, the new units were beautifully fitted and the team were second to none. The new kitchen looks fantastic. We would like to extend our thanks to all those involved.”
The couple’s kitchen was originally a very traditional look, utilizing dark wood doors. In order to brighten up the area, they opted to replace their old doors for a brand new shaker style in vanilla colour. They also decided to replace their worktops with brand new ones of cherry butcher block, as well as replacing their dated corner display with new stylish narrow cupboards. Altogether, these features gave the kitchen a more streamlined and up to date look. Sandy had this to say:
“The Austin’s were absolutely lovely people, we were delighted to be working with them! It’s safe to say that we’re all happy with the final result of the makeover. It truly shows the strength of our service- by replacing certain features of their kitchen we have made it look brand new!”
The company has achieved an average customer rating of 9.6 out of 10 and of all the feedback left on Dream Doors via Checkatrade, only one in every 187 jobs showed reasons for concern. The national average is 1 in 4, prompting Checkatrade.com boss, Kevin Byrne to describe Dream Doors’ figures as “nothing short of remarkable.”
With the number of kitchen makeovers performed by the franchise rapidly increasing over time, it seems the company’s illustrious 100,000th makeover is well within reach.
