A new kitchen is a space for creativity and enjoyment, but ultimately is is a place where work is undertaken. So, to plan a practical kitchen, professional kitchen designers employ something called the ‘work triangle’.
The ‘work triangle’ is formed by placing the units and kitchen appliances, with appropriate work surfaces, in a position that allows the user to work in a logical sequence throughout the major work areas (food storage, preparation, washing / cleaning, cooking, serving). Ideally, when added together, the three sides of the triangle should be between 3600mm and 6600mm.
Using our CAD design software, we create wireframe designs of your kitchen, using exact measurements taken when we visit your property. When these wireframes are complete then we can add an overlay of colours and styles and visualise your new kitchen in a 3D environment.
You can then get an idea of how your kitchen will look with a Dream Doors kitchen. So… you would have seen our doors, felt the quality of the product in your hand and can now see how this will look insitu in your kitchen.
The hard part for you is choosing a kitchen door style and colour, handle type and any accessories… but again, our kitchen experts will offer suggestions such as “this handle will go better with this style…” and “have you thought about trying this…” so we will make sure you are 100% happy and have been given all the options before your final design decision and the work goes ahead.
